Corporate GHG Reporting: From Scopes 1/2/3 to Radiative Forcing
Interactive 3D simulator: set a company's Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions the way a real climate audit reports them, watch the CO2 you add accumulate in the atmosphere shell, and see the resulting radiative forcing computed from the real IPCC logarithmic formula.
Real climate audits (GHG Protocol, TCFD, ISSB S1/S2) don't stop at a spreadsheet — the tonnes of CO2e a company reports genuinely change the physics of the atmosphere. This simulator lets you set Scope 1 (direct), Scope 2 (purchased energy) and Scope 3 (value-chain) emissions the way a real disclosure does, accumulate them over a chosen reporting horizon, and watch that mass convert into a rise in atmospheric CO2 concentration and, through the IPCC's logarithmic forcing formula, a measurable radiative forcing in watts per square metre. A verification-audit button samples independent measurement noise around the self-reported total, illustrating why Scope 3 emissions are the hardest line in any climate audit to certify.
Set a company's Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse-gas emissions the way a real climate audit reports them, accumulate them over a chosen reporting horizon, and watch the CO2 concentration and radiative forcing (via the IPCC logarithmic formula) rise in a live 3D atmosphere.
