Science-Based Target Pathway Simulator

Interactive SBTi corporate decarbonization simulator: pick a 1.5°C or well-below-2°C linear pathway, tune abatement effort, and watch a 3D emissions-tower timeline show whether a company's Scope 1+2+3 trajectory stays on track toward its science-based net-zero target.

Companies setting a net-zero target under the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commit to a linear annual reduction rate against a baseline emissions inventory — 4.2% a year for a 1.5°C-aligned pathway, or 2.5% a year for a well-below-2°C pathway — with at least 90% absolute reduction required by 2050 and only the residual 10% neutralized through carbon removal. This simulator renders a real 3D timeline of towers from 2025 to 2050: green towers track a company's actual Scope 1+2+3 emissions as its abatement effort is dialed up or down, translucent grey wireframe towers show the required SBTi pathway for comparison, and a red ceiling marks the net-zero residual limit. Live readouts track cumulative carbon budget consumption and flag whether the company is on track or falling behind its own science-based target.
