Privacy Policy

This website provides educational physics simulations without requiring any login or account creation. We use Google AdSense to serve contextual ads, which may include cookies for targeting purposes as described below.

What we do not collect

  • No accounts, no sign-up, and no email address are required.
  • We do not use tracking or advertising cookies without your consent. Once you give consent through the cookie banner, Google-served ad cookies may be used as described in the 'Advertising' section.
  • No personal data is sold, shared, or transferred -- we hold none to begin with.

What stays in your browser

Your theme (dark/light), animation speed, chosen hero effect, and the last simulation you opened are saved in localStorage on your own device (keys prefixed ms-). These settings never leave your browser and are not readable by us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

Analytics

  • We use privacy-friendly, cookieless aggregate analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to see which pages are visited. It records page views without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without any identifier that could single you out.

Third parties

  • Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and some simulations load the Three.js library from a public CDN (jsdelivr). Those providers see the request your browser makes (including its IP address) exactly as any web request works; they receive no data from us about you.
  • Simulations run entirely in your browser -- nothing you do inside a simulation is sent anywhere.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to serve contextual ads on this site. This may include cookies and similar technologies from Google and its third-party advertising vendors, such as the DoubleClick DART cookie, to tailor ads based on prior visits to this or other websites.

  • Users can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and the NAI/DAA opt-out at aboutads.info.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

The site processes data under GDPR / UK GDPR, with consent as the legal basis for non-essential (advertising) cookies. Users have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held about them and how to exercise this right (email hello@mysimulator.uk).

  • Users can withdraw their consent at any time through the cookie banner.

Children

The site is safe for classrooms: there are no accounts, sign-ups, or messaging features. While ads may be displayed, they do not involve user interaction and are strictly targeted to provide educational content relevant to the site's audience.
