Kelp Forest Simulator (2D)

This 2D side-view simulator recreates a kelp forest swaying underwater: each frond is anchored to the seafloor and bends along its length under an adjustable current, with buoyant tips near the surface swinging widest while bases stay nearly still. Raise the current strength to watch the whole canopy whip harder, increase kelp density to fill the water column with more fronds, and turn up the growth rate to see young kelp reach full height and canopy coverage faster, all while live readouts track frond count, maximum sway angle, and canopy height.
