After a partial hepatectomy, a mammalian liver doesn't just patch a wound — the surviving hepatocytes divide until the whole organ's mass is restored to its original share of body weight, then stop growing entirely. This simulation renders that regrowth in 3D: choose how much liver is resected, set the strength of the HGF/EGF growth-factor signal that drives proliferation, and watch instanced hepatocyte tissue fill back in from the core outward, with a bright mitotic front tracking where division is fastest. A toggle lets you disable the "hepatostat" size-sensing feedback term to see why unchecked proliferation, rather than the logistic approach to a set point, is the concerning failure mode.
