🧪 Iot Iot Monitoring Simulation

Watch a live IoT sensor network stream telemetry to a hub in 3D. An EWMA control chart tracks each sensor's drifting baseline and flags statistical anomalies in real time — adjust node count, sample rate, noise and the smoothing factor.

A ring of IoT sensor nodes streams noisy telemetry to a central hub in real time, rendered as data packets travelling across a live 3D network. Rather than a fixed threshold, the hub runs an exponentially-weighted moving-average (EWMA) control chart on every node — the same statistical-process-control technique used in real fleet-monitoring platforms — tracking each sensor's drifting baseline and its own running variance so it can flag a genuine 3σ deviation without false-alarming on ordinary noise. Adjust the node count, sample rate, sensor noise and the EWMA smoothing factor λ, click any node to inspect its live reading against its control band on a rolling chart, and inject a manual anomaly spike to see detection happen in real time.

⚙ Under the hood

This simulation demonstrates the monitoring of Internet of Things (IoT) devices and their data streams. It illustrates how sensors collect information and transmit it for analysis, highlighting key aspects of IoT data management.
