🧪 Iot Iot Integration Simulation
Watch heterogeneous IoT devices — sensors, actuators and a gateway — discover each other and self-organize into a wireless mesh network. Send packets, drop a node, and watch multi-hop routing heal around the failure.
Every real Internet-of-Things deployment is a story of integration: dozens of heterogeneous, battery-powered sensors and actuators must discover each other over short-range radio and cooperatively relay their data to a single gateway, without any one device becoming a fatal single point of failure. This simulator renders a live 3D mesh of devices, computes which pairs are within radio range, and routes packets hop-by-hop toward the gateway using breadth-first shortest-path search — the same principle behind Zigbee, Thread and Bluetooth Mesh networking. Adjust the device count and radio range to see the network fragment or knit together, fail a relay node on demand to watch the mesh self-heal around it, and track live delivery and hop-count statistics as traffic flows.
This simulation demonstrates the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) devices within a network environment. It explores how different IoT components connect and communicate with each other, showcasing fundamental networking principles.
