This simulation models a pumpkin rind as a real curved thin shell under internal turgor pressure — the same structural situation as a pressurized pipe or aircraft fuselage. Pick a shape and click anywhere on the pumpkin's curved surface to carve an eye, nose, mouth or custom cutout; each carved edge instantly opens an actual hole in the 3D geometry and lights up with a live stress-concentration heatmap computed from the classic thin-shell pressure-vessel formula and a corner-sharpness-driven concentration factor. Orbit freely around the shell to inspect the hottest corners from any angle, then adjust rind thickness, turgor pressure and corner sharpness to see exactly why sharp jack-o'-lantern corners are the first place a real pumpkin gives way.
