This is a full 3D, orbit-anywhere model of the classic dry-ice cauldron effect. A chunk of solid CO₂ sits submerged in water at the bottom of a cast-iron cauldron; as it sublimates directly into gas, the escaping cold CO₂ chills nearby water vapor in the air until it condenses into visible fog. Because that fog is colder and denser than the surrounding air, it doesn't billow upward like steam — it pools at the rim, spills over the edge, and cascades down the outside of the cauldron before settling and spreading across the ground, a real convective phenomenon you can now watch from any angle. Adjust the dry ice amount, ambient humidity and ambient temperature to see how much fog is produced, how thick it looks, and how quickly it thins out and disappears, then hit reset to drop in a fresh block of ice.
