This simulator turns the abstract language of environmental standards — Maximum Allowable Concentrations (MAC / ГДК), mixing zones, and cumulative Hazard Index rules — into a river you can watch mix in real time. A discharge pipe releases treated effluent carrying two regulated pollutants, ammonia-nitrogen and phosphate-phosphorus, into a flowing river. A mass-balance dilution model computes how the two streams merge, and a mixing-length model shows the plume relaxing from near-outfall concentration toward the fully-mixed value as it travels downstream. Four controls — river flow, effluent flow, and the two pollutant loads — drive live concentration readouts at a fixed 200 m regulatory monitoring point, each compared against its own MAC, and summed into a cumulative Hazard Index exactly the way real water-quality permits define compliance: HI ≤ 1. The riverbed ribbon, the drifting particle plume, and the monitoring buoy all recolor live as you push the discharge past what the standard allows.
