Building Greywater Recycling Loop
Interactive 3D mass-balance simulator of a building greywater recycling system: shower/sink/laundry water is filtered, disinfected and reused for toilet flushing and irrigation, with a live tank level, turbidity and freshwater-savings model.
Shower, sink and laundry water — greywater — makes up more than half of a typical household's indoor water use, and most of it is clean enough to reuse for toilet flushing or irrigation after simple filtration and disinfection. This simulator runs a live daily mass balance for a building-scale greywater loop: set the number of occupants, the filter train's efficiency and the storage tank's capacity, toggle which reuse points are open, and watch treated water animate from the sources through the filter into the tank and back out to reuse, with a real turbidity model and a running freshwater-savings figure.
