Mpemba Effect Simulator (2D)

Interactive 2D Mpemba-effect simulator: race a hot and a cold beaker toward freezing while tuning evaporative mass loss, convection currents and dissolved-gas content to see when the hotter beaker can actually freeze first.

This 2D simulator races a hot beaker against a cold beaker as both cool toward a shared freezer temperature, modelling three real contributing mechanisms side by side: evaporative mass loss that shrinks the hot beaker's remaining volume, convection currents that speed heat loss while the internal temperature gradient is large, and dissolved-gas content that changes as hot water degasses. Tune the initial temperature gap and each factor's strength, then watch the live temperature readouts and freeze times to see under which conditions the initially hotter beaker can actually win the race — and under which it can't.
