Every crewed habitat's life-support loop depends on turning yesterday's urine and cabin humidity back into today's drinking water, and it does that with a spinning vacuum-distillation drum rather than a simple boiler, because reusing the vapor's own latent heat through mechanical compression is what makes the energy budget survivable in orbit. This simulator renders that drum in 3D: wastewater parcels spin against the drum wall under centrifugal force, a fraction evaporate under vacuum and ride a condenser coil into the potable tank while the rest concentrate into brine, and four real controls — feed rate, drum RPM, operating pressure and the concentration-factor limit before a canister purge — drive live readouts for recovery rate, specific energy (from the Clausius–Clapeyron boiling-point relation and a Vapor Compression Distillation energy model), boiling point and drum g-force.
