This top-down 2D companion re-derives the same social-force proxemics controller as the 3D classroom navigator: an attractive term pulls the differential-drive robot toward the desk it is currently serving while a repulsive term, scaled by Hall's proxemics zones, pushes it away from every other seated student. Because the underlying navigation model already lives entirely in a flat plane, this version computes it directly rather than flattening a rendered 3D scene — drag any student's desk to reshape the repulsion field live, pan and zoom the room the way you would orbit a camera, and read the attractive/repulsive balance play out on the scrolling telemetry strip chart beneath the floor plan.
