Firework Shell Trajectory & Burst (3D)

Full 3D ballistic simulation of a firework shell: real launch physics (velocity, angle, gravity, air drag) to the burst point, then genuine radial star dispersion with its own drag and gravity.

This simulator flies a firework shell along a real ballistic trajectory — launch velocity, launch angle, gravity and quadratic air drag all feed a numerically integrated flight path, not an idealized parabola. When the fuse (or the drag-modified apex, in auto mode) is reached, the shell detonates into a cloud of stars that disperse radially at a real burst velocity, then fall and drift under the same gravity-and-drag model, carrying the shell's own momentum with them. Adjust the launch angle, velocity, fuse delay, air drag and wind to reshape the arc and the burst pattern, or click the ground to aim and fire toward any point.

⚙ Under the hood

A firework shell follows a real ballistic trajectory with launch velocity, gravity and air drag to its burst point, then stars disperse radially outward under gravity and drag.
