Champagne Cork Projectile Physics (2D)

2D side-view simulation of a champagne cork launch: dissolved-CO2 pressure from Henry's law drives the launch, then real ballistics take over — tune temperature, agitation, bottle tilt and cork mass.

A simplified side-view companion to the 3D model: the same Henry's-law pressure and impulse-launch physics compute a real launch velocity from bottle temperature, agitation, neck friction and cork mass, then a plain gravity-only parabola (no drag) carries the cork to landing. Pan and zoom the scene, tilt the bottle, and click the cork to pop it — a slow-motion toggle and a fading splash of champagne mist make the brief launch easier to see.

⚙ Under the hood

A 2D side-view companion showing the same Henry's-law pressure launch and ballistic flight of a champagne cork with a simplified drag-free trajectory.
