🧪 Technology Internet Of Things Simulation

Interactive 3D simulator of a staged IoT firmware OTA rollout: push an update to a small canary batch first, expand in increments, and watch an automatic rollback trigger the instant a wave's failure rate crosses your safety threshold.

This simulation puts you in charge of pushing a firmware update to a fleet of 48 connected devices the way a real IoT platform does it: not all at once, but in a staged canary rollout. A small first wave goes out, its failure rate is measured, and the rollout either widens in increments toward the full fleet or halts and automatically rolls back the moment a wave's observed failure rate crosses your safety threshold. Tune the canary batch size, the per-wave increment, the underlying device failure rate and the rollback threshold, then watch each device change color live as the cloud server pushes updates to it — grey for still on the old firmware, teal while updating, green on success, red on failure, and orange once a failed device has been reverted.

⚙ Under the hood

This simulation illustrates the core concepts of IoT by allowing users to design and deploy connected devices. It demonstrates data transmission, device communication, and basic cloud integration in a 2D setting.
