This simulation puts you in charge of pushing a firmware update to a fleet of 48 connected devices the way a real IoT platform does it: not all at once, but in a staged canary rollout. A small first wave goes out, its failure rate is measured, and the rollout either widens in increments toward the full fleet or halts and automatically rolls back the moment a wave's observed failure rate crosses your safety threshold. Tune the canary batch size, the per-wave increment, the underlying device failure rate and the rollback threshold, then watch each device change color live as the cloud server pushes updates to it — grey for still on the old firmware, teal while updating, green on success, red on failure, and orange once a failed device has been reverted.
