IoT Protocol Range & Power Tradeoff Simulator

Interactive IoT connectivity simulator: send telemetry from a sensor node to a gateway over Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRaWAN or NB-IoT and watch how distance, sampling interval and edge filtering change latency, link reliability and battery life.

An IoT sensor node has to pick a radio protocol before it can send a single byte, and that choice locks in a tradeoff between range, bandwidth and battery life. This simulator sends periodic telemetry packets from a sensor to a gateway over Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRaWAN or NB-IoT, computing real air-time latency and per-packet energy from each protocol's bandwidth and transmit power, and marking a packet dropped the moment the distance slider pushes past that protocol's range. Toggle edge filtering to see how summarising data on-device — instead of shipping the raw sample block — shrinks payload size and stretches battery life, exactly as it would on a real deployed sensor.
