Mixed flowering forage and close, reliable water reduce colony stress and keep more foragers active, while road noise and night lighting raise stress, shake the hives and jitter forager flight paths.
🎮 How to Use
Adjust forage diversity, water distance and noise pollution, then toggle night lighting and the windbreak hedge. Watch the stress index, foraging efficiency and active forager count respond in real time.
💡 Did You Know?
A windbreak hedge does double duty for an apiary: it buffers noise and turbulent wind, and diverse forage within about 1–2km of a hive is one of the strongest predictors of colony nutrition and winter survival.
