A 3D apiary that turns live temperature, rainfall, forage and season inputs into three concrete beekeeping decisions — feed, super, and treat — shown as coloured threshold gauges beside the hive.

🔬 What It Demonstrates

Each gauge combines several weather variables into a single actionable signal, the same way a decision-support framework replaces "do it on this date" with "do it when these conditions are met."

🎮 How to Use

Adjust temperature, rainfall and forage availability, then change the season. Watch the FEED, SUPER and TREAT gauges shift colour, supers appear or disappear on the hive, and forager traffic speed up or stall in the rain.

💡 Did You Know?

Many UK beekeepers avoid opening a hive below roughly 14–15°C, since chilling the brood during inspection can do more harm than the inspection itself is worth.

⚙ Under the hood

Set temperature, rainfall, forage availability and season, and watch a 3D apiary translate live weather data into concrete feed, super and treatment decisions.
