Whether a stray spark becomes a smouldering patch or a fast-moving wildfire depends less on the spark than on how dry the surrounding fuel already is. This simulator drops the same ignition point into a forest stand under two climate scenarios — a wetter historical baseline and a drier, hotter current-climate baseline — and lets the fuel-moisture field, not the fire, drive the outcome. Switch scenarios, reset, and ignite to compare how far the same spark travels when the only thing that changed is the moisture locked in dead leaves, twigs and grass.
