This top-down 2D simulator drives a row of turbines through a compressed semi-diurnal (M2) tidal cycle, computing real power output from ρ, swept area and flow velocity cubed, while a flocking fish shoal swims the channel and reacts to each rotor's wake with a tunable avoidance strength. Raise the blade tip-speed ratio for more power and watch the estimated strike rate climb; flip on slow-rotation mitigation to see the power/ecology trade-off directly; and watch the seabed cross-section and live flow/power strip charts track the tide in real time — the same environmental-monitoring questions real tidal-energy projects have to answer before permitting.
