EU Green Taxonomy Alignment Simulator
Interactive EU Taxonomy classifier: tune an economic activity's carbon intensity against the technical screening threshold and its impact on five other environmental objectives, and watch a 3D hexagonal DNSH shell tell you whether the activity is taxonomy-aligned.
The EU Taxonomy is a classification rulebook, not a physics law — but it behaves like a hard multi-criteria gate. This simulator turns one economic activity's environmental profile into a 3D hexagonal shell: one axis is the substantial-contribution test (carbon intensity against a moving technical screening threshold), and the other five are Do-No-Significant-Harm scores that each must clear a pass floor. Push carbon intensity below the threshold, and drag any DNSH score under the floor, to see how a single weak axis collapses the whole activity from "taxonomy-aligned" to "non-aligned" — regardless of how good its headline carbon number looks.
Tune an economic activity's carbon intensity against the EU Taxonomy's technical screening threshold and its impact on five other environmental objectives, and watch a 3D hexagonal DNSH shell tell you whether the activity is taxonomy-aligned.
