Analytical chemists identify unknown pollutants — VOCs, NOx, SOx, PAHs — by measuring the infrared or Raman spectrum of a sample and comparing it against a library of known-compound references, since every bond type vibrates at its own characteristic wavenumber and no two unrelated molecules share the same full peak pattern. This simulator lets you build an unknown sample by mixing six real bond-vibration channels, add realistic detector noise, and watch a live cosine-similarity match against a reference library of pollution-relevant compounds.
