This simulation renders a carved jack-o'-lantern and its candle flame as a full 3D scene you can freely orbit, rather than a flat reprojection. The pumpkin shell is procedural 3D geometry with genuinely carved triangular eyes and a jagged mouth that light glows through from an interior flame, and the flame itself is built from three nested layers of real 3D geometry matching a diffusion flame's actual zone structure: a dark conical core of unburned wax vapor, a luminous soot zone, and a thin blue outer mantle of complete combustion — plus rising soot embers.
