This simulation renders a carved jack-o'-lantern and its candle flame as a full 3D scene you can freely orbit, rather than a flat reprojection. The pumpkin shell is procedural 3D geometry with genuinely carved triangular eyes and a jagged mouth that light glows through from an interior flame, and the flame itself is built from three nested layers of real 3D geometry matching a diffusion flame's actual zone structure: a dark conical core of unburned wax vapor, a luminous soot zone, and a thin blue outer mantle of complete combustion — plus rising soot embers. Adjust wick exposure, airflow and wax type to watch the flame's height, lean and flicker respond, then orbit the camera to see the carved face lit from within and the flame's true 3D shape from any angle.
