🐝 Therapeutic Beekeeping: Apiary Stress-Response Lab
A 3D apiary-therapy session showing how paced breathing, safe distance and hive calmness shape a visitor's real-time stress response beside a working beehive.
A 3D apiary session where a visitor stands beside a working beehive: adjust breathing pace, colony activity, working distance and protective equipment, and watch a live stress index respond the way it would in a real supervised apiary-therapy session.
🔬 What It Demonstrates
Slow, paced breathing in the calm 5–7 breaths-per-minute band, a safe working distance and a quiet colony all pull the simulated stress index down; fast breathing, an agitated hive and close proximity without a veil push it up — mirroring the safety and mindfulness logic behind supervised apiary sessions.
🎮 How to Use
Set your breathing pace, the hive's activity level and your distance from the entrance. Toggle the veil and guided-focus coaching on or off and watch the breathing guide orb, the bees' flight pattern and the stress meter respond in real time.
💡 Did You Know?
Apiary-therapy and social-prescribing programmes often report that the enforced calm, deliberate movement required around an open hive is itself part of the benefit — matching the bees' unhurried pace is a form of embodied mindfulness.
