The 2D companion to the tower-cam version of this landing problem: a side-view flight panel shows the booster falling toward a pair of chopstick catch arms while a scrolling telemetry chart plots vertical and lateral speed against the exact ±3 m/s / ±1.5 m/s catch tolerances, so you can see numerically — not just by eye — how close you are to a clean rendezvous. Throttle and gimbal sliders drive the same rocket-equation mass model, gravity and crosswind as the 3D version; the catch-arm gap slider now visibly resizes both the on-screen capture zone and the chart's tolerance band. Drag or scroll the flight panel to pan and zoom the camera manually, or leave auto-follow on to keep the booster centered automatically.
