This visualizer pairs a spacecraft coasting along a Hohmann-transfer-style path from Earth's orbit to Mars' orbit with a literal 3D reserve tank that drains as the transit progresses. The ship's position on the elliptical transfer is driven only by elapsed mission time — no thrust, no fuel budget — while the tank's fill level tracks the same closed-loop mass balance as the 2D companion simulator: water and oxygen recycled at your chosen efficiency, food carried in full, and the shortfall charged against a fixed onboard reserve every day. Slide the recycling efficiency down a few points and watch the tank hit empty well before the spacecraft reaches Mars' orbit; push it up and the ship arrives with a comfortable green margin still in the tank.
