Spacecraft Resupply Logistics: Consumables Stock Simulator (2D)
Interactive 2D spacecraft resupply-logistics simulator: watch oxygen, water and food stock levels drain and refill as a sawtooth chart, tune crew size, resupply interval and launch-delay uncertainty, and use a live Monte-Carlo stockout-probability readout to size the safety-stock buffer that keeps a mission from running out.
Keeping a crewed spacecraft or station supplied is a running race between consumption and delivery: oxygen, water and food drain continuously while cargo vehicles arrive only on a fixed schedule that real launches routinely slip. This 2D counterpart plots that race directly as a live sawtooth stock-level chart for all three consumables — each drains at a real per-crew-member rate, each shipment is sized to cover the interval plus a safety buffer, and each cargo launch draws a genuine random delay every cycle. A built-in 5,000-trial Monte-Carlo readout continuously re-measures the stockout probability at your current settings, so you can watch it fall in real time as you drag the safety-stock buffer slider up.
A crew drains onboard oxygen, water and food while cargo vehicles dock on a scheduled interval that can slip — tune crew size, resupply interval, launch-delay uncertainty and safety-stock buffer to avoid a stockout, watching a live sawtooth stock-level chart and a 5,000-trial Monte-Carlo stockout-probability readout.
