This 2D counterpart keeps the exact Walker's Law skyglow model — the empirical d^2.5 falloff astronomers use to site dark-sky reserves — but replaces the 3D orbiting starfield with three linked 2D-native views: a log-scale road map you drag a car along to set your distance from the city, a live log-log brightness-vs-distance curve, and a polar fisheye all-sky chart (zenith at centre, horizon at the rim, exactly like a real all-sky camera image) seeded from a physically-distributed 2,800-star catalogue. Dial population, distance and atmospheric clarity and watch sky brightness, limiting magnitude, visible star count, Milky Way visibility and the 1–9 Bortle class update everywhere at once.
