Every city sits under a dome of its own light, scattered back down by the atmosphere and washing out all but the brightest stars overhead. This simulator models that skyglow with Walker's Law — the empirical d^2.5 falloff astronomers actually use to site dark-sky reserves — so you can dial a city's population, your distance from it, and the atmosphere's clarity, then watch a physically-driven starfield of 2,800 stars reveal or hide itself in real time. Live readouts track computed sky brightness in magnitudes per square arcsecond, the naked-eye limiting magnitude, the number of visible stars, whether the Milky Way clears the glare, and the resulting 1–9 Bortle dark-sky class.
