ADSR Envelope Sculptor — Sound Design Lab
Shape a sound effect's attack, decay, sustain and release and watch the envelope drive a 3D impact object and a scrolling loudness history in real time — the core tool of cinematic sound design.
Sound design is the craft of shaping how loud a sound is at every instant, not just what frequencies it contains. This simulator exposes the four-stage Attack–Decay–Sustain–Release envelope that drives almost every foley hit, synth note and game audio cue: press and hold the trigger to fire it, adjust Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release with real sliders, and watch a 3D impact object scale and glow with the live loudness curve while a scrolling, colour-coded bar history shows the last few seconds of envelope shape. Presets recreate a startle hit, a tension swell, a plucked foley note and an ambient pad so you can feel directly how the same underlying model produces four completely different perceived effects.
Shape a sound effect's Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release and watch the envelope drive a glowing 3D impact sphere and a scrolling loudness-history strip in real time.
