This 3D companion places the same scale-free academic network in space instead of on a flat map: a handful of large hub-professor spheres cluster at the network's core, densely interlinked with each other, while a much larger shell of small peripheral-professor spheres orbits outward, connected mostly through those hubs rather than each other. Belief spreads through a simple contact-probability model and its color visibly races through the hub cluster before crawling across the sparse periphery — and immunizing the hubs, rather than random professors, is what actually stops it.
