This 2D companion runs the same Bikhchandani-Hirshleifer-Welch cascade rule as the 3D version on a plain canvas: agents draw a private signal, choose A or B after seeing everyone before them, and a running tally chart shows exactly when the public "vote" outweighs private evidence and the herd locks in — sometimes on the wrong answer.
