Tournament mode reproduces Axelrod's classic round-robin exactly — six strategies play iterated Prisoner's Dilemma matches and accumulate scores on a live bar chart. Switch to Evolution mode and the sim becomes a population dynamics model: instead of a one-off tournament, strategy fractions reproduce generation after generation according to the discrete replicator equation, so you watch Tit-for-Tat and Grudger crowd out Always-Defect over time on a live area chart, rather than reading a single final ranking.
