QRNG Min-Entropy Certification & Toeplitz Extraction (2D)
An interactive 2D flow diagram of a quantum random number generator: watch a raw Markov-correlated bitstream, its live min-entropy certificate, and a real Toeplitz-hashing extractor matrix compress it into shorter certified-uniform output bits.
Hardware quantum random number generators never emit perfectly random bits straight from the detector — imbalance and correlation in the physical source leave a raw stream that is only partially unpredictable. This 2D flow-diagram version models that raw stream as an order-1 Markov source, estimates its min-entropy per bit live from bias and correlation controls, and animates a genuine Toeplitz-hashing randomness extractor — a real GF(2) matrix-vector multiply built from a public seed, rendered as a pannable bit-matrix heatmap — compressing the raw block into a shorter, certified-uniform output.
