Hardware quantum random number generators never emit perfectly random bits straight from the detector — imbalance and correlation in the physical source leave a raw stream that is only partially unpredictable. This simulator models that raw stream as an order-1 Markov source, estimates its min-entropy per bit live from bias and correlation controls, and then runs a genuine Toeplitz-hashing randomness extractor — a real GF(2) matrix-vector multiply built from a public seed — to compress the raw block into a shorter, certified-uniform output, exactly as an entropy-certification pipeline like ID Quantique's would.
