Chemometric Calibration Drift & Recalibration (2D)

Interactive 2D PAT simulator: watch a spectroscopic calibration model drift out of true as the process baseline wanders across a scrolling spectral heatmap, then pull reference lab samples to recalibrate and drive the prediction bias back to zero. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom.

Process Analytical Technology depends on a spectroscopic calibration model translating a raw signal into a live quality reading — but that model is only as good as its last calibration. This 2D simulator runs a continuous stream of synthetic spectra through a simple univariate calibration, letting the instrument baseline drift away from the calibrated intercept exactly the way raw-material variability and sensor fouling do on a real line. Watch the amber prediction trace separate from the true green concentration on the strip-chart as bias accumulates below the scrolling spectral heatmap, track RMSEP and bias live, then pull a noisy reference lab sample and recalibrate to snap the model back into agreement. Drag the canvas to pan across the batch history and scroll or pinch to zoom in on either panel.

A 2D PAT simulator pairing a scrolling spectral heatmap with a live concentration strip-chart: watch the amber model prediction drift away from the true green concentration as the instrument baseline wanders, then pull a noisy reference sample to recalibrate and collapse the bias back to zero. Drag to pan the batch history and scroll or pinch to zoom into either panel.
