A handset drives past a row of 28 GHz mmWave small cells while pedestrians and vehicles cross the street and momentarily block the line of sight. Each cell's RSRP is computed from a real 3GPP free-space path-loss formula plus a blockage penalty, and the phone switches serving cells using the same A3-style hysteresis + time-to-trigger event real networks use — showing live RSRP, Shannon-capacity throughput, handover count and link-outage time as you tune cell density, blocker traffic and the handover parameters.
