Drug Metabolizer Phenotype Simulator

Interactive pharmacogenomics simulator: watch a drug's plasma concentration rise and decay through a real one-compartment first-order pharmacokinetic model, then switch CYP450 metabolizer genotype (poor to ultrarapid) and see clearance, half-life and steady-state accumulation change in real time.

This simulator models how a person's CYP450 genotype changes the pharmacokinetics of an oral drug. A real one-compartment, first-order elimination model (dC/dt = −ke·C) drives everything on screen: switch between Poor, Intermediate, Normal, Rapid and Ultrarapid metabolizer phenotypes to rescale hepatic clearance the way CPIC dosing guidelines do, dose the drug once or turn on automatic redosing to watch plasma concentration climb toward a genotype-dependent steady state, and read the exact concentration, elapsed time, half-life and clearance off live numeric readouts and a rolling concentration-time graph while a 3D bloodstream of drug molecules visibly thins out as it circulates past the liver's clearance zone.

⚙ Under the hood

Switch a patient's CYP450 metabolizer genotype (poor to ultrarapid) and watch a real one-compartment first-order pharmacokinetic model change plasma drug concentration, half-life and steady-state accumulation in real time.
