A health department has one fixed budget and three levers to fight an outbreak before it starts: vaccinate people out of the susceptible pool, fund sanitation and hygiene measures that cut transmission risk, or run awareness campaigns that get symptomatic people to isolate faster. This simulation runs a real SEIR (Susceptible–Exposed–Infected–Recovered) compartment model driven by whatever split you choose, rendering the population as a live 3D field of color-coded cohorts alongside a 60-day epidemic-curve tower, so you can see directly how the same total spend produces a very different outbreak depending on where it goes.

⚙ Under the hood

This simulation explores the strategies involved in public health initiatives designed to prevent disease outbreaks and promote community wellness. It highlights the role of interventions and awareness campaigns.
