🧪 Preventive Lifestyle Modification Simulation
Interactive hazard-model simulator: adjust diet quality, physical activity, smoking status and sleep/stress to see how modifiable lifestyle factors reshape a lifetime cardiometabolic-risk trajectory, with a live Monte-Carlo cohort and survival curves.
This simulation demonstrates the impact of lifestyle choices on long-term health by modelling how diet, physical activity, smoking status and sleep/stress quality reshape a person's annual hazard of a major cardiometabolic event across the lifespan. A Gompertz-form baseline hazard is scaled by relative-risk multipliers derived from your four sliders, then integrated into a survival curve you can compare against low-risk and high-risk reference trajectories. Alongside the analytic curve, a live Monte-Carlo cohort of 150 individually-simulated agents is stepped forward one year at a time using the exact same hazard, so you can watch a population — not just a single idealized line — respond as you change habits in real time.
This simulation demonstrates the impact of lifestyle choices on long-term health. It illustrates how changes in diet, exercise, and stress management can contribute to a healthier life.
