"Perfect health" isn't a fixed number — it's a system that keeps returning to balance after being pushed. This simulator models that system directly: five physiological biomarkers (cortisol, blood pressure, heart-rate variability, inflammation and glucose) get pushed off their set-point by stressor events and relax back over time, exactly as the body's real stress-response machinery does. Push them faster than they can recover — by cranking up stressor intensity or frequency, or by starving the system of sleep and resilience — and the unresolved surplus accumulates as allostatic load, McEwen and Stellar's term for the cumulative wear of a stress system that never gets to rest. Watch the central core shift from calm blue-green to warning red as load climbs, individual biomarker bars spike and settle, a shell of simulated tissue points lights up unevenly as cumulative wear crosses each point's own damage threshold, and a live sigmoid readout translates the abstract load number into an estimated long-term disease-risk percentage.
