Forensic Toxicology Simulator
Interactive forensic-toxicology simulator: visualize a substance's blood-concentration curve over time using a two-phase pharmacokinetic model, take a virtual blood sample at any moment, and see whether it falls inside the detection window.
Toxicologists rarely test a sample the instant a substance is taken — a blood draw usually happens hours later, at the crime scene, hospital or autopsy. This simulator plots blood concentration over time for three substances with different elimination half-lives using a two-phase (absorption + exponential elimination) pharmacokinetic model, then lets you take a virtual blood sample at any point on the timeline to see exactly what a toxicology screen would report at that moment — including whether the result falls inside or outside the substance's detection window.
A two-phase (Bateman) pharmacokinetic model plots blood concentration over time for three substances with different half-lives; take a virtual blood sample at any point on the timeline and see whether it falls inside the detection window.
