Watch a drug candidate circulate through two vessel types at once: an ordinary leaky capillary and a tightly-sealed brain capillary protected by the blood-brain barrier. Tune lipophilicity and molecular size to see which molecules diffuse through the BBB's cell membranes into brain tissue, and which are turned back — even though the very same molecule crosses the ordinary vessel freely.
