Lymphangion Pump: 2D Space-Time Kymograph

Interactive 2D companion to the 3D lymphangion-chain simulator: instead of an orbit-camera view of a 3D chain, this version renders the exact same stretch-triggered peristaltic pump equations as a scrolling space-time kymograph, the same technique physiologists use on real isolated lymphatic vessels to see the contraction wave travel down the chain over time.

This 2D companion to the 3D "Lymphangion Pump" simulator keeps the exact same governing equations — per-segment elastic and active (contractile) pressure, valve-gated inter-segment flow, and a myogenic stretch-frequency coupling — but computes and displays them independently with a genuinely 2D-native technique: a scrolling space-time kymograph, the standard way physiologists visualise a travelling contraction wave on a real isolated lymphatic vessel. Instead of orbiting a 3D chain, you watch the wave itself as a diagonal band of high pressure sweeping down the strip; turn down valve competence to see that band bleed backward as reflux, or raise the downstream pressure to see it steepen against a bigger afterload.

⚙ Under the hood

Watch the same stretch-triggered peristaltic lymphangion-chain equations as the 3D simulator rendered as a scrolling space-time kymograph -- the technique physiologists actually use on real isolated lymphatic vessels -- so the contraction wave, valve reflux and afterload strain become a directly visible, measurable traveling pattern instead of an orbit-camera scene.
