This 2D companion drives the same reaction-site kinetics as the 3D original on a flat plane: free CO2 particles drift through the curing chamber until they contact an unoccupied calcium-rich aggregate site, bind, and after a curing timer convert into a calcium carbonate product particle that releases the site for the next molecule. A live saturation-kinetics readout (v = Vmax·S / (Km·30 + S)) shows the mineralization rate slowing as free CO2 runs low even while aggregate sites remain available.

⚙ Under the hood

2D reaction-site simulation of CO2 mineralising into calcium carbonate on aggregate sites, driven by the same Michaelis-Menten-style saturation kinetics as the 3D version, with a numeric mineralization-rate readout.
