Pollution Detection Sensor Network
Interactive IoT sensor network simulator: a smokestack releases pollutant that advects and diffuses on the wind while ground sensors sample local concentration and a weighted-centroid algorithm triangulates the plume source in real time.
A single industrial stack releases a stream of tracer particles that drift and spread across a grid-mapped area under a tunable wind field, while a network of ground sensors continuously samples the local particle density around them. Each sensor's marker shifts from green through yellow to red as it detects rising concentration, and a weighted-centroid algorithm fuses every alarmed sensor's reading into a live estimate of the emission source — shown alongside the true source position so you can watch the estimate converge (or drift) as wind, emission rate and sensor density change.
A smokestack releases tracer particles that advect on a tunable wind field and diffuse via random walk. A grid of ground sensors samples local particle density (green to yellow to red alarm), and a weighted-centroid algorithm fuses alarmed sensor readings into a live source-localization estimate, compared against the true source position.
